Happy Summer 2022!  It has been an incredible quarter! Excellent research and development findings continue to roll in, resulting in the continued growth of our family of products.  Existing veterinarian client sales have exploded this year and many new clients have adopted our products due to results.   Please take a moment to check out all that is happening with AniCell:

Fonner Park EHV-1 Outbreak
M&M Girl after EHV-1 Recovery

Data collected from AniCell’s ongoing work with USDA on EHV-1/ EHM outbreaks

Final data has been tabulated from the EHV-1/EHM outbreak study at Fonner Park in Grand Island, NE which occurred in March 2022. The UC Davis Quantitative PCR Core Facility data shows the viral spread was eradicated in 2.3 days on average and confirmed by a culture study performed at NVSL. The finished study will be presented at AAEP on Saturday, November 19 at 11:00 am in Theater 1.

Also, check out M and M Girl. She is a three-year-old mare who was EHM positive with severe neurological signs when we arrived at Fonner Park. We used RestorMune and she recovered 6 days post application. Five months later, she won her first race ever! A six furlongs $4000 claiming race at Canterbury Park.

TEVA 2022 Summer Symposium and Equitarian Project

AniCell has just returned from the 2022 Texas Equine Veterinary Association Summer Symposium in Fort Worth, TX. We had the opportunity to catch up with old friends and longtime AniCell customers as well as meet many new veterinarians and vet students who’ve heard about our regenerative amnion therapy and case successes from their colleagues and wanted to see for themselves what we were all about.

AniCell is proud to once again support TEVA’s Equitarian project.  We will be teaming up with our friends at FullBucket to travel to Guatemala in November to provide help for horses in need. Stay tuned!

We would also like to congratulate Doctors Randy and Kim Lewis for bidding on and winning our Annual Sedona Experience. It raised over $10,000 for the TEVA foundation this year – we are excited to have this package continue to be so popular!

Updated product instructions

Our technical services veterinarian, Dr. Tammi Epp, is hard at work updating the AniCell product administration instructions and protocols. Earlier this year, we introduced two new products based on the results of ongoing studies, RestorMune for immune support and StemWrap-IU to promote intrauterine health. The new product instructions will include administration protocols for both of these new products.

In addition, we will be adding guidelines for dosing and administration for optimum results when our products are used on felines.

Promoting Regenerative Therapy services to your clients

Do your clients know that you offer regenerative therapy as an option for their animals? Maybe they need some help understanding what “Regenerative Therapy” is and how it’s used in veterinary medicine. If so, perhaps we can help!

AniCell Regenerative Products

On our AniCell Blogs, AniCell Facebook and Instagram pages, we try to provide some light education about what amnion therapy entails, but we often get messages and phone calls from owners who aren’t quite sure just exactly what regenerative therapy is, how it works and what conditions it can potentially help. We know time is in low supply at any practice, so we’ve created a library of informational pages that you’re welcome to use to let your clients know that regenerative therapy is a service you provide. While “Vet Access” continues to be our portal for veterinarians, your practices can use the information included in the new large and small animal pages. Right now the Equine page is still under construction, the canine page can be found below:

Join us for 2 RACE-Approved virtual CE credits

Last year, the American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE committee approved AniCell’s Program “Use of Amniotic Material in Regenerative Medicine” (Program Number: 1559-41674) for 2 CE credits including Interactive-Distance Learning as a delivery method. To date, we have trained nearly a thousand veterinarians and vet techs on the regenerative benefits of amnion.

Our Free, 90-minute, 2 CE credit course is held live via ZOOM and focuses on the science of amnion along with real-life cases and plenty of opportunity for Q&A during the presentation. We discuss the science and history behind the therapeutic use of amnion in wound management as well as a veterinarian-led Q&A session. The second half of the session will feature guest veterinarians presenting several personal small and large animal cases demonstrating clinical applications of AniCell’s amnion on a variety of indications including superficial wounds, fractured bones, tendon and ligament lesions, joint issues, and corneal ulcers.

Next Seminar Dates:

Tues., September 20 at 7:30pm EST

Thurs., October 13 at 8:30pm EST

Tues., November 15th at 7:30pm EST

All sessions are 90 minutes

Trainer Spotlight

In 2018, Canadian cutting horse trainer, Glen Beveridge reached out to AniCell CEO, Brandon Ames about EquusCell AniMatrX D for osteoarthritis. He declared that he was done using corticosteroids for chronic osteoarthritis on his performance horses and wanted to see if AniCell’s products would be an option. Since the adoption of EquusCell in his program, his horses are lasting longer and he is the youngest person ever inducted into the Canadian Cutting Horse Hall of Fame.  Congratulations to GD Cutting on another fantastic year.  We could not do it without you!
