Another successful foaling/amnion collection season has come and gone already. AniCell’s collection season began at full speed and concluded with smooth success on Mother’s Day – how appropriate! We had another delightful group of mares join us at Miracle Ranch (AKA Equine Maternity Spa among our interns) this year; some new and some returning to donate again. As a company, we continue to see significant growth and expanded use of the products providing efficacious and safe results and we couldn’t do it without these gracious donors. Product Efficacy and Safety

For the last year, we have been running a series on Allogeneic Biologic Safety. We covered the rigorous donor testing that is performed on the mares prior to getting to our facility using the same protocols as on blood plasma mares (https://anicellbiotech.com/anicell-summer-2018-update/). Last fall we discussed both lab work-in-progress and finished product testing prior to release https://anicellbiotech.com/anicell-fall-2018-update/.  Finally, we covered our Certificate of Analysis that compiles both our donor and product lot test results https://anicellbiotech.com/anicell-winter-2019-update/. This quarter, we are going to look at AniCell’s product efficacy.

AniCell tracks product efficacy and safety of our products out to 120 days. This gives us the ability to follow up on results per indication and monitor any safety issues associated with our products. While we are not able to get feedback on every case, AniCell currently is garnering a 41.56% response rate with an over 94% success rate.

AniCell tracks the outcomes of our products by serial number and indication to ensure our products are achieving the absolute best outcomes. We stand behind our products by re-treating cases that didn’t achieve the expected outcomes. We do this free of charge to the veterinarian and will even go as far as guaranteeing the results on our proven indications by refunding the purchase price to the veterinarian.

We understand that all cases are not able to come back to previous performance levels. Through familiarity with the products and good case selection, veterinarians have been able to realize above a 90% success rate on tendon, ligament, joint, bone, superficial wound and ocular injuries out-performing the existing standard of care.

New product usage videos!

AniCell has posted new product usage videos. These videos are designed to help veterinarians become more comfortable with AniCell’s products in clinical use.  These videos can be accessed throughout “Vet Access” portal.

Veterinarians continue to send us new ways of using the product. We posted several new cases this quarter to give a better understanding of how the products are being used. Many of these are not your “standard” cases:
