Venture Madness:

After winning two grants from the Flinn Foundation and Arizona Innovation Challenge, AniCell was nominated to participate in Venture Madness, a clever spin-off of March Madness. Initially 84 companies applied and AniCell was seeded into the top 64. After two rounds, AniCell made the Sweet 16 and on March 9th and 10th found ourselves competing for the finals. After 4 more rounds, AniCell, just a 22 month old company found itself the runner-up out of the 64 originally seated. See the full story here.

Clinical Trial shows 2X faster healing with StemWrap

Distal limb wounds have forever been the challenging for Horses and Dogs. AniCell’s first clinical trial, a wound study is based on 15 horses with distal limb wounds, showed that the wound contraction rate was 2 times better with StemWrap product line when compared to existing standards of care in the control group, at 60 days, with no reactions or infections recorded. Collection Season-Enhanced Testing

Here in the southwest, spring has arrived meaning that it is collection season for AniCell. We are so very grateful for those people who partner with us by sending their mare to foal out with us so that we can collect this amazing material. AniCell does all our biologic material collection at our own isolated facility called Miracle Ranch.

AniCell has worked with IDEXX to create a complete panel of tests that address the mare and foal’s health prior to arrival on the ranch, similar to what blood plasma donor animals go through. We also created a panel for post birth testing of mare and foal as well as testing the Amnion to ensure the highest quality and care. To support the community and raise awareness for the life-changing power of amnion, we also partner with local universities and schools by offering intern positions and on the job training.
