AniCell Releases an Indication-Based Product Guide.

Many of our customers have asked which products should be used for which indications. So, we are releasing a new Product Guide for Veterinarians available on our “Vet Access Portal.” This includes our most common indications and the products that would be used for those indications. Published Science on AniCell

AniCell continues to be excited about the publication in the August issue of the ACVS Surgery Journal by Dr. Alex Fowler BVSc and the Schnabel Lab at North Carolina State.

The journal publication was the results of a controlled experimental wound healing study which found that the use of AniCell’s StemWrap and StemWrap+ products results in increased production of granulation tissue while maintaining appropriate healing.

This study compared the use of commercially available amnion (AniCell’s StemWrap line) to the use of both a non-adherent dressing and a silicone-dressed control on experimentally induced full-thickness distal limb wounds.

This finding supports our clinical observation that these products are critical in wounds with substantial tissue loss and complicating factors such as underlying exposed bone and/or tendons in which the expedient production of large amounts of healthy granulation tissue is desirable to fill in the defect and cover underlying anatomical structures.

AniCell Results

In last quarter’s issue, we discussed our customer’s latest results on efficacy and safety of the AniCell product line. This summary is of the indications AniCell has collected data on over the last four and a half years since we started.

AniCell tracks the outcomes of our products by serial number and indication to ensure our products are achieving the absolute best results. We understand that all cases are not able to come back to previous performance levels. Through familiarity with the products and good case selection, veterinarians have been able to realize above a 90% success rate on tendon, ligament, joint, bone, superficial wound and ocular injuries, outperforming the existing standard of care.
