AniCell Biotech launches their CanisCell product line of regenerative products for dogs that requires no harvesting of Bone Marrow or Fat Stem Cells.

Chandler, AZ, February 10, 2016 – Today, AniCell Biotech launched its CanisCell product Line of regenerative products for the dog market. These products will be used for the wound management of tissue damage to tendons, ligaments, bones, ocular wounds and joints.  This product line does not require invasive harvesting or culturing of bone marrow or adipose tissue stem cells to address injuries in dogs.  It uses amniotic material collected non-invasively during the parturition of healthy puppies to produce these all-natural, minimally manipulated regenerative products.

Dr. Lucas Thomi DVM, a small animal veterinary surgeon had this to say, “Regarding your products, I will absolutely continue to use them in selected cases, such as tendon and ligamentous injuries.  I will also discuss it with owners in selected high-risk cases, such as fractures in older miniature dogs, open fractures, highly comminuted fractures, and articular fractures.”

After the release of EquusCell last fall, this is AniCell’s second complete line it has released in the last 12 months. AniCell’s bioprocess engineer and research veterinarian, Dr. Moises Barcelo, DVM, Ph.D., has been very busy with the various product lines and is eager to see the same widespread adoption in the dog industry that he has seen in the horse industry. “Veterinarians need all-natural products that can be used on challenging cases that are both chronic and acute in nature. Not products that just treat symptoms. Our lines are regenerating tissue systemically at the scaffold level and doing it in superficial lacerations, ligament lesions, tendon injuries, and ocular ulcers through a single-use application.
