AniCell Turns 10

On April 1st, 2015, AniCell Biotech embarked on a journey to pioneer a new regenerative placenta tissue-based allograft to support wound healing.  This novel new bioscaffold was designed to aid the body in healing wounds by supplementing the body with regenerative material to address common tissue indications.

This journey has not been without its challenges, but we are both grateful and proud to continue to lead the way in science and education about this technology.  We couldn’t have done it without the support of so many loyal veterinarians and their clients who have trusted AniCell in nearly 30,000 cases over the past decade.  This ongoing support and collaboration has provided such a wealth of knowledge and has been critical to the advancement of understanding the science behind this technology to a level we’d never imagined back in 2014.  AniCell’s veterinarians are hard at work in the midst of several exciting ongoing and new research, publication and study projects, and we are incredibly excited at the prospect of being able to help even more animals in the next decade.  Thank you, and cheers to the next 10 years!

Upcoming CE course dates

​We’re excited to kick off another year of live CE courses you can attend from the comfort of your home, truck, or office via ZOOM. We started these four years ago to help veterinarians and vet clinic staff learn about amnion as a regenerative application.  We have had over 1050 attendees who earned 2100 hours of RACE-approved Continuing Education credits. The free 90-minute course will be a live presentation on the history and use of amnion in human and veterinary regenerative medicine. Our live panel of guest veterinarians will present their latest cases of AniCell use for a variety of indications. Our open forum format encourages participation from attendees to ask questions as we go through the presentation and case studies. These courses are approved for 2 RACE credits for veterinary professionals.

Case Study:  Skippy Jon Jones – Thriving Despite Multiple Diseases

Skippy Jon Jones is a 16-year-old male neutered Bengal who has been battling concurrent disease for several years. As is the case with many of our senior felines, Skippy has been dealing with IBD, hyperthyroidism, pancreatitis, chronic kidney disease, and anemia. In addition, he suffers from stenosis at the lumbosacral junction.

Dr. Leslie Baldner of Paw Chi Holistic Veterinary Care has been administering AniMotion intravenously periodically to support Skippy’s health. Dr. Baldner began using the product for Skippy in 2022, and monitors labwork on the day of administration of AniMotion and within 3 to 5 weeks after administration.

Dr. Louder’s Girls

Girls and horses are a match made in heaven, and Dr. Craig and Erica Louder’s daughters Cora and Clara are no different.  In order to preserve his horses’ joints, Dr. Louder reached out in January to AniCell to discuss regenerative ortho-biologics for his daughter’s second hand barrel horses.

After using AniMatrX products to address Clara and Cora’s horses’ joints and Clara’s horse, River’s chronic DDFT injury, both horses’ clinical symptoms improved, and the girls have been able to outperform their expectations.  Click here to see Dr. Louder’s story about his daughters and their horses.
