Skippy Jon Jones – Thriving Despite Multiple Diseases

Skippy Jon Jones is a 16-year-old male neutered Bengal who has been battling concurrent disease for several years. As is the case with many of our senior felines, Skippy has been dealing with IBD, hyperthyroidism, pancreatitis, chronic kidney disease, and anemia. In addition, he suffers from stenosis at the lumbosacral junction.

Dr. Leslie Baldner of Paw Chi Holistic Veterinary Care has been administering AniMotion intravenously periodically to support Skippy’s health. Dr. Baldner began using the product for Skippy in 2022, and monitors labwork on the day of administration of AniMotion and within 3 to 5 weeks after administration. She bases her intervals for product administration on Skippy’s clinical presentation. Dr. Baldner has been quite amazed and pleased with the results Skippy has achieved! Each time she rechecks labwork after AniMotion administration, she finds that his anemia has been corrected and the HCT is back to normal. For instance, on 5/15/23, he was anemic, with HCT 26%. 3 weeks after AniMotion administration, his HCT has increased to 43%, well within the normal range of 29% – 48%. On 2/15/24, his HCT had decreased back to 26%. 4 weeks post-AniMotion it was 34%. Similar results occurred after a 9/17/24 HCT of 23% that increased to 38%. Most recently, his HCT went from 21% to 33%. Each time she administers AniMotion his creatinine has decreased as well on the follow-up labwork, with it decreasing from 3.3 mg/dL to 3.0 mg/dL on his most recent labwork.

Dr. Baldner noted a step at the L-S joint and severe stenosis that she believes was due to an injury from jumping from a high surface. She said, “he was such an athlete!” The spinal disease caused Skippy to exhibit ataxia for 3 years. Since using the AniMotion product, Dr. Baldner said that his back injury presentation of ataxia “has been stabilized, and he still jumps on and off the counter with ease. I am so thankful for the AniCell therapy…he’s doing amazing!” She also notes that his thyroid levels have been stable and his heart is healthy.

Skippy on the lamb after first implantation!

Skippy after his first implantation in 2022 exhibited a more vibrant energy level and a more robust behavior.  To such an extent that he decided to explore an adjoining neighborhood for several days.

We are thrilled that Skippy Jon Jones is enjoying his senior years! Take a look at this happy boy!
